Marina has been working in the fields for years and she is one of my go-to people when it comes to social networks management and advertising.
As you might know already, I firmly believe there is much more behind likes and and ‘vanity metrics‘ on social media. There is more than a good picture or proper use of hashtags.
There is the ability to combine solid social skills with time management in order to translate strategies into actions.

The power of the Social Media Manager

Social Media Managers develop a company’s social media strategy and manage their social channels.
This makes them be the voice of a brand. Community Management is an important part, too, since through social media channels you get to interact very fast and easy with your target group.
Especially nowadays, when most companies got more and more digitalized, social media gathered importance when it comes to selling online or enhance relations by professional customer service.

Keep in mind that understanding customer care enables you to make a positive impact in the hearts and minds of your community! Social Media Managers are also king in planning. Using a social media calendar is one of the best ways to keep content organized and plan ahead.

It’s all about the story and engaging content.

The best social media managers are excellent copywriters and sparkling digital conversationalists who not only embody but enhance, their brand’s voice on social. In my case, I studied communications at the University of Applied Studies in Lucerne. In my master in communication management, I learnt how to create engaging storylines for offline and online measures. Several years in the healthcare market further made me understand, that content must always put customer’s needs in the first row.
Significant insights can be found out through analyzing your persona’s journey before starting to spend money in advertising.

Once all the analytical work is done it’s much easier to focus on the creative work.
Being involved in various industries using all available social media platforms regularly makes it much easier to understand, what the community wants to see online.
On top of that comes a good eye for aesthetical content and understanding how to combine text and visuals.
